If you want to stay at a motel that is dirty, has no pool or restaurant (not even near by) ad promised morning coffee and a roll which never happened, and if you never want to see anyone at the front desk (must ring bell and intercom asked "what you want" then this is your kind of place. ...read more

Walls of bathroom and mattresses and boxsprings all had dark spotting and large stains. Room was about 90 degrees when we first got into it. Our room was on back of motel away from street overlooking a large field and someone tried to get into our room at about 3 a.m. ...read more

The bathroom linens were the only terrible part, but they were so terrible they made up for any other aspect. When we showered and used the towels, our bodies were left with fuzzy material. It was the cotton particles from the towels. The towels were so old and worn that one could see through them and holes were worn through. The bath soap was an awful smell of cheap aftershave. Terrible bath soap and bath towels made this a really bad motel stay. ...read more

This hotel is in a great area. The people are wonderfully helpful and friendly. Internet is only available in the lobby.

Quick and easy check-in. Room was clean and comfortable. I was more than satisfied. I would book with this motel again.

There were a lot of bugs in the room, the paint was peeling in every room (and I was concerned that it mostly likely was lead paint), the room had a foul odor, there was a half used douche in the cupboard under the bathroom sink when I checked in, the TV didn't have cable or a working remote (most of the channels were black and white and fuzzy), there was no phone book in the room, the towels were paper thin and smelled, the toilet didn't flush well. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Although the room met my needs by having a refrigerator and microwave. ...read more

Not too noisy, hotel staff missing most of the time although I did not need them. Could have better signs for ice machines, etc, could have a list of local restaurants.

I would not recommend staying in this hotel unless you don't have a nose, or your are not sensitive to smoke. (Like say you a 5 pack smoker a day.) Everything stank of smoke. It was so bad that we went out and got candles to help with the smell. We also noticed that there was a church under the hotel and a lot of foot traffic on the landing next to our room. We also asked the front desk where to eat and what was nice and he said that he just moved there and he knew nothing about the area. The bath rooms need to be updated the grout was falling out of the tub. We defrosted the fridge in our room because you couldn't use it until then. Over all I would not recommend staying here. Stay in Herkimer its only 3min away! ...read more

This hotel has horrible service, I had to wait 20 minutes just to get someone at the front desk to check in. The rooms are disgusting, mold in the shower, funky smell and definitely not kept up. I will never recommend this hotel and actually kind of beg people not to go their for their own good! ...read more

Typical old style motel - no renovations appear to have been completed in a very long time. Comforter was very dirty on the bed and we removed it because we were afraid to use it. I would only stay here as a last resort. ...read more
